Earrings

I love my diamond earrings. I won them from in a gift basket from my local library. They were a 650$ value 14krt gold, 1/4 krt total weight, color less, diamond earrings. I have had them for over 10 years until this weekend when I lost one. I am broken hearted, yes they are just earrings, they are insured and replaceable. But to me they were very sentimental, for thoose were probly the only diamonds I will ever get. I have no diamond ring, or any prospect of one. It was just my diamond earrings, and now they are gone.  Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend!

I wanted to share a new web site with you. I am apart of an amazing group of talented people. The Sparta Township Historical Commission was established in 1990 to preserve the history of Sparta. Long time~!!!

I have no idea if any body else reads my blogg, but I am just going to write this for my self then. After a long time off I am now back. Today I have no new pics to post or any thing cool. I will from now on focus on such stuff. I have never been much of a writer, but for some reason I am drawn to do this. So if any one is out there thank you, and if not I will just read it my self!

Election Day

I hope every one will go vote in your local elections today. The very first election held in the United States was the presidental election of 1788. George Washington was elected president and John Adams was Vice President. I take my right to vote seriously. It does not matter who is right or wrong, what matters is that your vote does count. If you believe in this country than vote.



Bad Day!!

Every one has a bad day. Today was one of those days for me. I will not bore you will the details. When I do have a day like I did today I always look at this picture that I took last summer at the Sparta Town and Country Day Parade. Looking at this just reminds me that no matter how bad of a day you are having, someone else is have a worst one. 

New Things

Hi this is my attempt at this blogg thing. I have been thinking about this for a while, and decided what the hell I will give it a shot. I am a hobbist photograher living in West Michigan. I love reading, watching tv and movies, and I love anything to do with history and Laura Ingalls Wilder. I will try and include a picture that I have taken or one I find intersting everytime I post. Today is Halloween. It has been a beautifull fall. I took this picture with my Sony A300 DSLR camera. It is a maple tree in my back yard, The tree was planted about 21 years ago. I love the yellow shade of the leaves.
